Since five people died in pedestrian versus vehicle collisions last year, the Prince George RCMP will be taking enforcement action against pedestrians and drivers in the next few weeks, during the Pedestrian Safety Campaign.
Led by Traffic Services, enforcement will mostly be at intersections and crosswalks.
The local police are asking the public to be cautious on the roads, whether in a car or on foot, to keep everyone safe this summer.
