There will also be a Zumba warm-up and fresh coffee. And after the walk, there will be hot dogs, a bouncy castle and crafts for the kids. There will also be music from PG Entertainment Group, agility and tracking demonstrations and more.

It's one of 31 such events to be held across B.C. to raise money for SPCA programs.

"This is the largest single event to help fight animal cruelty in British Columbia," B.C. SPCA fundraising events manager Krista Constantineau said. "We are overwhelmed by the amazing participation each year - it's so great to see thousands of people come together across the province to help B.C.'s most vulnerable animals.

"Our supporters not only raise essential funds, the events are so much fun for two-legged and four-legged participants."
