Paws for a Cause at Cottonwood Island Park

It's time once again for puppies of all ages to strut their stuff during Paws for a Cause, the BC SPCA's biggest annual fundraising event, held Sept. 11. Each year dozens of pet owners bring their dogs out for a day of fun.

It's time once again for puppies of all ages to strut their stuff during Paws for a Cause, the BC SPCA's biggest annual fundraising event, held Sept. 11.

Each year dozens of pet owners bring their dogs out for a day of fun.

There are 37 communities throughout the province that will participate in order to raise funds for their local shelter animals in need.

The walk at Cottonwood Island Park will begin at 11 a.m. and is in partnership with Scotiabank.

The walk will be led by Mayor Dan Rogers and his dog, Freckles.

All funds raised in Prince George will be directed to the North Cariboo branch of the SPCA, located at 4011 Lansdowne Road.
