Next week, city crews will hit the streets for paving season.
As as part of the city's capital road rehabilitation projects for 2017, projects are set to take place at: Seventh Avenue, Quebec Street, McBride Crescent, Gladstone Drive and St. Lawrence Avenue.
Paving is expected to finish the following week, weather depending.
Project details include:
Seventh Avenue from Victoria Street to Quebec Street (0.4 lane kilometres) with an estimated cost of $75,000.
Quebec Street from Seventh Avenue to Fourth Avenue (0.5 lane kilometres) with an estimated cost of $71,000.
McBride Crescent from 10th Avenue to Fifth Avenue (1.15 lane kilometres) with an estimated cost of $136,000.
Gladstone Drive from Simon Fraser Avenue to Loyola Drive (1.4 lane kilometres) with an estimated cost of $200,000.
St. Lawrence Avenue from St. Patrick Avenue to Southridge Avenue (0.8 lane kilometres) with an estimated cost of $101,000.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution and look for alternate routes if possible.
