A partial power outage is planned for the University Hospital of Northern B.C.
It was scheduled to start at 11 p.m. Friday and last until Saturday evening, Northern Health said in a press release, so workers can fix a transformer that caused a brief power outage last Friday.
There will be reduced lighting and limited elevator access at various times.
Northern Health has reviewed the UHNBC electrical system and is developing plans to increase the capacity and redundancy within the system.
