An 1,100-signature petition urging the provincial government to "fully fund" education in B.C. was handed over to Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond on Friday morning as a flock of parents gathered outside her office to voice their concerns over proposed school closures.
Bond indicated there may be some relief in the provincial budget to be introduced in the legislature on Wednesday.
