Crown counsel has approved charges against two people believed responsible for a recent rash of tire thefts.

Lanna Anezka Grundel, 24, and Reginald Edmond Junior Kot, 39, each face four counts of theft $5,000 or under and three counts of possession of stolen property. Grundel also faces a charge of disguising her face with an intent to commit an offence.

The two, who have been described as well known to police, were arrested Nov. 10 after the Prince George RCMP's street crew unit executed two search warrants in the Hart.
