Provincial legislation passed in answer to the death of a woman at the hands of a Siberian tiger nearly three-and-a-half years ago has netted a fine for a 100 Mile House man implicated in that incident.
Anthony Kim Carlton was fined $500 after pleaded guilty Wednesday in Williams Lake provincial court to one count of possession of controlled alien species contrary to the B.C. Wildlife Act.
