Three new overhead changeable message signs valued at over $1 million have been installed at key locations on highways in the Prince George area, the provincial government said.
Two are located on Highway 16, near Jensen and Jutland Road west of Prince George, and at Foreman Road east of the city, and one is on Highway 97 at Christopher Road to the north.
The signs will provide updates on road and weather conditions and emergencies, not only for Highway 16 and 97 but also for Highways 37 and 97, the two major routes to the Yukon and Alaska.
