An overdue hunter has been found.
Vance Hartley, who had not been seen since Wednesday evening, walked out of the bush near Cottonwood on Highway 16 at about 8 p.m. Thursday, Quesnel RCMP said.
A call for the public's help in finding Hartley had been issued earlier Thursday.
"Hunters and hikers are reminded to leave directions and/or information regarding where they intend to travel and an expected time of return," RCMP said. "As well, plan for all eventualities, by ensuring that proper clothing and extra food and water are carried in case of an an unexpected delay."
