Prince George RCMP arrested a 38-year-old man Wednesday after catching him in the act of exiting a broken window with stolen property at a home in the 2100 block of Pine Street. The arrest about 1:30 p.m.

Prince George RCMP arrested a 38-year-old man Wednesday after catching him in the act of exiting a broken window with stolen property at a home in the 2100 block of Pine Street.

The arrest about 1:30 p.m. was made due to a report of a suspicious person at the door of the residence. Police have been asking for assistance by the public in reporting any suspicious activity in regards to a rash of daytime break and enters around the city.

This man is a repeat offender with 43 Criminal Code convictions. He has been charged with break and enter, being unlawfully in a residence and possession of stolen property. Police, who continue to investigate the B & E incidents, send along thanks to the public for assistance in apprehending this suspect.
