A recent agreement between the B.C. Liquor Distribution Branch and the Salvation Army deemed the official Christmas season for collecting funds is Dec. 1 to 24, inclusive.
Wayne Wood, kettle campaign co-ordinator in Prince George recently told The Citizen that this was the first year that Salvation Army kettles have not been allowed on the government liquor store premises prior to that date.
