Construction of Boundary Road begins in earnest this week as a logging crew moves in to clear a path for the connector meant to open up west of the airport for a light-industrial logistics park.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held five weeks ago shortly after Western Industrial Contractors was awarded an $18.7-million contract to carry out the work but loggers had to wait for the bird nesting season to end before they could start removing trees along the 6.8-kilometre stretch.
