A circle of loved ones is in mourning and another still searching for answers in the rural communities south of Franois Lake.
For weeks, police and public searches have been underway for Perry Sebastian, 28, who went missing on Dec. 26 in the Southbank neighbourhood. Then, on Thursday, police were called to the scene of a found body in that general area.
It turned out to be that of Bill Troy, a local resident who died suddenly.
"It was something we were called upon to investigate on behalf of the coroner, but so far there is no suspicion of foul play," said Burns Lake RCMP Cpl. Chris Ivany.
Troy's acquaintances confirmed his identity, however RCMP would not confirm or deny the information.
RCMP has refocused their attention to the missing man case.
"Perry Sebastian is still considered a missing person and that is not ruled out by this case," said Ivany.
Sebastian is originally from Hagwilget. He is described as First Nations, with brown eyes and black hair. He is of slender to medium build, approximately five foot 11 inches and 170 pounds.
Perry was last seen wearing a camouflage toque, black hoodie, black vest and gray shirt along with navy track pants and black shoes (runners or hikers).
