A 33-year-old Prince George man is dead after a fatal motorcycle crash shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to police, the man was driving his motorcycle south on Tyner Boulevard when it struck the median just before the intersection with Ospika Boulevard.
The driver and his 20-year-old female passenger were taken to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. for treatment. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the hospital and his passenger suffered serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
Prince George RCMP are not released the names of the people involved, or any further details at this time.
