Highway 39 to Mackenzie was closed and one person was injured Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle collision about 10 kilometres north of the junction with Highway 97.
The extent of the victim's injuries are unknown.
"The highway was closed in both directions as a result of the crash, but is expected to be open to single alternating traffic as crews work to clear the scene," North District RCMP said in a release issued shortly after 11 a.m.
