Kevin Brooks made the choice to drive drunk 10 years ago, and now he must live with the consequences. He hopes that by sharing his story of tragedy and triumph with others, they will learn to think before they act.
Brooks's down-to-earth, fun-loving attitude and sense of humour help him connect with teens and young adults. His blond faux hawk and taste for punk and metal music make him even more relatable to youth. Snowboarding, skateboarding, and playing rep hockey were just a few of the numerous activities Brooks enjoyed growing up. He can't do these things anymore because he's paralyzed from his mid chest down.
