One person was killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle incident on Highway 16 east of the city, Prince George RCMP has confirmed.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene, nine kilometres east of Purden Lake at 8:45 a.m. and the road was closed in both directions until about mid-morning.
The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of kin and an investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
