One arrested in downtown stabbing

Prince George RCMP have a suspect in custody following a stabbing which took place downtown Saturday morning. Police were called to the intersection of Third Avenue and Dominion Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Prince George RCMP have a suspect in custody following a stabbing which took place downtown Saturday morning.

Police were called to the intersection of Third Avenue and Dominion Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. They found a 34-year-old man lying on the ground suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The man was treated on the scene by emergency personnel and taken to hospital, where he remains in serious

Police arrested a 23-year-old man near the scene. No information was available on whether charges had been laid as of press time.
