About $4,000 worth of drugs and more than $10,000 of stolen property were seized by police as a result of two search warrants last week.

On March 27, the Prince George RCMP's crime reduction team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant on a suspected drug house in the 800 block of Harper Street.

Police seized cocaine, heroin, cash and an assortment of drug trafficking paraphernalia from the home.

A 35-year-old man was arrested and later released on a promise to appear in court in June.

Two days later, a Criminal Code search warrant was executed on rural property on Naismith Crescent. Police found a stolen 2005 Ford F-350, which had been reported stolen from College Heights on March 27.

Police also fond a stolen travel trailer from Fort St. John and a skid steer, stolen from Williams Lake in December 2012.

The inside of the home revealed a marijuana grow operation.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing and charges of possession of stolen property and production of a controlled substance are anticipated.
