A high school located on the coast of Vancouver Island is hoping Prince George parents will consider them for their teen's education.
Brentwood College is a boarding school based on teaching and prepping high school students for university, and representatives are hosting an information session in Prince George next month to showcase the academy.
The Mill Bay institution has existed for almost 100 years and its campus resides along the Pacific Ocean a half-hour drive from downtown Victoria.
According to the school’s website, they offer a variety of activities in academia, arts, and athletics, leading the way to ‘100 per cent university acceptance’ through college-standard learning opportunities.
Advanced placement programs are listed on Brentwood’s curriculum.
Notable courses like English, Math, Social Studies, several Science-related classes, and language options that include French, Spanish, and Mandarin.
The college also has a hockey program, junior and senior varsity, in addition to traditional high school sports like basketball, volleyball, rugby, and golf.
