Here is your friendly reminder that Mother’s Day is coming up!
If you haven’t planned anything special for your mom (or wife, or grandmother, or whoever you would like to celebrate on May 12) why not head out to Mother’s Day Tea at the Railway and Forestry Museum.

There’s a lot going on and admission to the museum is free for moms!
But what’s even better is that the first 50 moms to attend the event will receive a goodie bag and a flower donated and handed out by the gentleman of the Prince George Masonic Lodge 178.
All visitors will be able to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, water and a piece of cake and cookie while enjoying all of the fun.
There will things for the kids to do, including a children’s area with Mia’s Face Painting, a free mother’s day craft for kids and a colouring contest with a prize basket valued at $130.00.
There will also be a vendor alley with local vendors offering mom-related items so families can shop for the perfect gift while enjoying the day.
And of course, all the usual Museum attractions will be available including the infamous Cottonwood Mini-train, which takes visitors all around the eight-acre park.
Train Rides are $3.00 per person so make sure to bring some change.
The whole thing takes place on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 12) from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum which is located at 850 River Road.
