If there’s nothing funny happening but you’re in the need of a good laugh, why not just laugh anyway?
Well if you’ve never laughed just for the purpose of laughing itself now’s your chance to try it out!
Chinook Yoga is hosting a Ho Ho Ho, Ha Ha Ha Holiday Laughter Yoga class to help Prince George kick the winter blues away and get laughing again.
Laughter yoga is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. It is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter.
The class will be led by yogi Carolyn Manhas and is free to attend; however, they will also be accepting donations for St. Vincent De Paul Society.
The class takes place Sunday, Dec. from 11 a.m. — 12 p.m. at Chinook Yoga (320 Vancouver Street).
As space is limited, you’ll need to register so those interested in attending should email [email protected] to reserve their place.
