It's been said many times and many ways, that the first five years are the most important in a child’s life.

To help parents or caregivers learn more about those important early years’ in a child’s life, Prince George Public Library is hosting an Early Years Wellness Fair.

The event will connect families with health professionals and learn about programs in the community that could be beneficial for young children.

The wellness fair will cover everything from vision, dental, infant development, early learning, childcare resources and more.

It’s also free to attend and there’s going to be information booths, children’s activities and prizes available.

The whole thing takes place Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the downtown Bob Harkins Branch and is geared for families or caregivers of children aged zero to six years old.

On Our Radar is just a thing we do when we're looking forward to an event or think the public should be aware of it. Think you have something for it? Email us at [email protected].
