On Our Radar: Get your car cleaned and eat a burger while raising funds for Prince George Hospice

It's the time of year to get your car washed and enjoy some BBQ (even in the wet weather in Prince George).

And next month, you'll have a chance to do both while raising funds for a major society. 

Norgate Autobody Ltd., PG Auto Sales and White Goose Bistro are teaming up on Aug. 23 to raise funds for the Prince George Hospice Society with a car wash and BBQ event. 

It'll take place at Norgate's office on First Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the BBQ being lit at 11 a.m.

White Goose Bistro Chef Ryan Cyre will be behind the grill. 

The car wash and BBQ are by donation with a minimum $5.

All proceeds from the day will go directly to the hospice society.
