Are you looking or a fun event that the whole family can enjoy?

Well, look no further because Family Fun day at the Railway and Forestry Museum is coming up.

There’s going to be interactive activities, games, live music and more. Huggleberry the Clown will be doing balloon animals in the afternoon, and the Prince George Public Library is bringing their ginormous life-sized chess set!

Barry the Blacksmith will fire up the forge and do demonstrations during the event. Plus the famous Cottonwood Minirail Train will be up and running to take your whole family on rides around the museum grounds.

Make sure to bring some change because tickets for the minitrain are $3 and the concession stand will be also serving up some delicious eats.

The cost to get in, however, will be free on Family Fun Day with a donation to either Two Bunnies Rescue or the Prince George Humane Society.

They are also going to have a booth set up and some furry friends on hand for you to visit.

Also if the weather is nice, be sure to bring a towel and spare clothing as the Museum will have water toys and games set up!

The whole thing takes place on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum is located at 850 River Rd.
