While Fallfest may not look like it did last year, with the streets filled with people and activities, Downtown Prince George is still inviting people to come and celebrate the season.

Instead of one big event, Fallfest is set to take place in "new ways and more days" for the next four Saturdays and will showcase downtown food, experiences and shopping.

On Sept. 19 and 26 and Oct. 3 and 10, Downtown Fallfest will showcase the outdoor Prince George Farmers' Market seasons before winter.

You can start your Saturday with a pancake breakfast hosted at the Royal Canadian Legion #43 at 8 a.m. (you have to order tickets in advance), then spend the day discovering downtown stores and boutiques.

“We have had so much fun hosting our seasonal festivals and miss seeing the crowds of smiling faces in our downtown streets. However, downtown is still the scene for safe and fun shopping, eating, and exploring experiences for everyone,” says Colleen Van Mook, Executive Director for Downtown Prince George.

“The Downtown Fallfest month-long celebration brings another opportunity to support our great downtown businesses. We have more ways and more days for you to come and celebrate Prince George’s downtown.”

Some restaurants will also be having Downtown Fallfest specials throughout the next four weeks.

A contest will also be in the mix where you can enter to win your own downtown experience.

All you have to do is take a photo of your purchases from downtown businesses and share to the Downtown Prince George Facebook page throughout the whole month.

You could win a Brew Masters Dinner for Six valued at $450 or a Downtown Staycation for a family of four valued at $350.
