It’s that time of the year again!
Prince George is going to jump into the Christmas season with the annual Civic Light Up.
On Sunday, Nov. 24, the community will gather in the Canada Games Plaza in downtown Prince George to celebrate the holidays.
There will be live entertainment, music and dance and complimentary hot cocoa and holiday treats.
Mayor Lyn Hall will light up the Canadian Tire Tree of Lights, and SANTA will be there to greet the kids.
You can enjoy a holiday hayride, get your face painted and watch fireworks rise from the top of Connaught Hill, which start at 6 p.m.
And, while you are there, you can stop by the Festival of Trees with a non-perishable food item to view the trees inside the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre!
Canada Games Plaza is located at 808 Canada Games Way, and is adjacent to the PG Conference and Civic Centre and Prince George Public Library (Bob Harkins branch).
