The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) says that one in two Canadians is expected to be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime.

Everyone is touched in some way by cancer, and to try and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer the CCS host a Daffodil Campaign every April.

During the month donors and supporters proudly wear a Daffodil pin to show their support for our cause.

To show your support, you can donate to the CCS and wear your pin throughout April.  You can find the distinctive yellow pins at plenty of participating businesses throughout the province including Starbucks, Pharmasave, Denny’s and more.

And if you don’t want to pin anything to your lapels, you can even create a digital daffodil online.

To show support for someone with cancer or to honour someone you love, you can dedicate the digital pins to someone specific and share it with others across social media.

Between 2016 and 2017, the Canadian Cancer Society funded $40 million in research supporting more than 340 projects across the country, thanks to donations.
