The colder days are settling in, which means it may be time to start thinking about ways to stay warm.

That includes keeping your belly full of comfort food and what better way to do so than with a taste of Italy found right here in the city.

The Prince George Italian Club is set to host a sale next month with lots of locally-made pasta, meatballs and gnocchi to stock up for winter, a tradition the club has kept up for five years.

COVID-19 protocols will be in place for those wishing to attend the annual popular event.

This includes a five-person limit inside the Italian Club's building at the corner of Dominion Street and Fifth Avenue, which is nearing repair completion after a multi-vehicle collision caused damage last October.

Mandatory face-coverings and physical distancing will be required so club members can clean and sanitize as often as they can.

Italian Club Vice-President Ron Polillo tells PrinceGeorgeMatters, in years past, products have sold out within the first hour.

He encourages those wishing to attend to arrive early!

The pasta, meatball and gnocchi sale is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.
