Taxes, bills, insurance, laundry, nutrition and scheduling appointments are some of the countless things adults face on a daily basis — hurdles they have to tackle whether they are prepared or not.
Have you ever wished you could attend a class to teach you exactly what you needed to know about becoming an adult?
The Prince George Public Library is offering just that, a class for everything you need to know about being an adult called, of course, Adulting 101.
Anyone between the ages of 15 and 25 can attend the class to learn the essential information to help embark on a successful adulthood.
The classes, which resume on Oct. 16 and run until Nov. 27, will explore various topics including finances, sewing, nutrition and mindfulness.
The goal of the free workshops is to help youth transition into adulthood.
The classes take place at the Bob Harkins Branch of the Prince George Public Library and start at 7 p.m. running until 8:30 p.m.
To register for Adulting 101, call the library at 250-563-9251, ext. 108.
