The Northern Women's Centre at the University of Northern BC will host an open house Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will showcase programs and available resources that have been developed over the years including violence prevention, with a focus on the Highway of Tears. A display on healthy and unhealthy relationships and sexual consent will be the focus.
The Northern Women's Centre is a 24-hour safe space for all women in Prince George that provides support, referrals and advocacy for women in need.
Everyone, including men, women and children, are welcome to attend the open house. Refreshments will be served.
