The annual Northern BC Home & Garden Show sees its third cancellation as the pandemic continues.
For 42 years people have attended the Home Show looking for ideas on how to update and renovate homes and outdoor spaces.
“We have a new Green Homes & Energy component as well as programming and events to build on the national Year of the Garden celebrations planned for the April show,” Terri McConnachie, Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC executive director, said. “We are incredibly disappointed and the cancellation of three annual shows is a heavy burden to our association’s bottom line and a financial hit for vendors. We are, however, a resilient group and understand that things are still fluid. We will announce dates for the next show shortly, and treasure the support of our community.”
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC has been building communities for more the 60 years and the Home Show is an annual event hosted by the association to celebrate spring and kick-off the busy construction season.
