All evacuation orders and alerts remain in effect for the Norman Lake and Little Bobtail Lake fire.
The fire has continued to grow on Wednesday, and has now burned about 8,000 hectares.
There are 120 firefighters, five helicopters and 10 pieces of heavy equipment on site.
The Wildfire Management Branch crews are getting help from four Air Tractor AT-802F Fire Boss amphibious airtankers that drop water, foam and retardant on the fire.
Evacuation orders from the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George have not changed.
An evacuation order was issued on Sunday night for the area around Norman Lake and on Monday morning another evacuation alert was put out for Bednesti Lake, Berman Lake and Dahl Lake Road. Road blocks are in place in that area.

Residents in the area are advised that the Berman Lake Transfer Station and Berman Lake Regional Park are closed as a result of the fire.
