No one was injured by a fire in a detached garage and carport at a home on Redwood Street on Saturday, according to information released by the City of Prince George on Monday.
Firefighters were called to a home in the 1700 block of Redwood Street at roughly 3 p.m., following a report of a structure fire.
When fire crews arrived, they found the detached garage fully engulfed in flames. Fire fighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which caused an estimated $50,000 in damages.
The cause of the fire was under investigation as of Monday.
