Suspected to all be caused by humans, Prince George Fire Centre responded to nine new wildfires over the weekend.
The biggest fire was a blaze covering 3.5 hectares in the Dawson Creek fire zone.
Four fires have been extinguished and the others are in the patrol stage or mop-up stage, where the firefighters check any still-smoking areas.
No structures are currently at risk.
Fire danger ratings are on the rise in the area and the current danger rating is moderate to high.
The Prince George Fire Centre covers the Yukon and Northwest Territories borders in the north to Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, the Cottonwood River and the Robson Valley in the south, and from the Alberta border in the east to the Skeena Mountains in the west.
Since April 1, firefighters have responded to 84 wildfires in the Prince George Fire Centre, part of a provincial total of 296 wildfires.
There are currently no burning restrictions in place in the Prince George Fire Centre.
