Since pandemic restrictions have been lifted there are a few different ways to ring in the new year in Prince George.
Here’s a few to choose from:
The Black Clover, 1165 Fifth Ave., offers a musical celebration with two rock and roll bands, Dead Sexy and Coastal Drifters, Saturday, Dec. 31, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the pub.
Heartbreakers Nightclub, 1192 Fifth Ave., offers a party from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. with a cover charge of $20 that includes a champagne toast at midnight. This is a 19+ event and requires two pieces of ID.
Hart Pioneer Centre is hosting a New Year’s Eve Dance Party Saturday at 7 p.m. featuring The B Side Band featuring classic country and rock and roll music, hot and cold buffet late-night lunch starts at 10:30 p.m., and a cash bar. Reservations for eight or more are welcome. Tickets are $45 each at the Centre, 6986 Hart Highway or call 250-962-6712.
Boogie with the Stars hosted by the Prince George Palliative Care Society Saturday at 6 p.m. til late at the Civic Centre. Boogie with the Stars is part of a fun filled, New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance. The evening is primarily one of music and dance for everybody, with an excellent dinner, great entertainment, together with a fundraiser for local charities. The competition segment of the evening is based on the model of the very successful TV show, Dancing with the Stars. The contest features local celebrities and people of notoriety together with local dance instructors for a dance competition like no other in Prince George. Each couple will perform a magnificent dance routine of their choice in front of the Civic Centre crowd. Tickets are available at Boogie with the Stars New Year's Eve.
