A serial flasher might be at work in Prince George. Two teenaged girls were victimized Tuesday by what looks to police like a repetitious suspect.
"Two 13-year-old girls were walking west on 15th Avenue when they heard a honk. Both girls turned to look and observed the driver of a black pickup truck exposing himself as he drove past," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "In 2011, the Prince George RCMP have received five other reports similar reports. The description of the suspect, the vehicle and how the act is carried out, are similar to this investigation."
The driver was described as a Caucasian male, 20 to 25 years old, blondish hair, wearing a black ball cap and black shirt with white lettering.
The vehicle is described as a newer model black Ford four door pickup. No license plate was obtained. If anyone else observed this act and got a license number or a good look at the suspect, police ask for that information as soon as possible.
"The Prince George RCMP are treating this investigation seriously. It is unacceptable to victimize young girls in this or any other community," Douglass said.
Police suggested that girls, especially, be accompanied when walking and stick to well travelled/high traffic routes as much as possible, and take note of all surroundings as you walk.
