Kwadacha Nation and North Cariboo Flying Services Ltd. have formed a joint venture to provide charter flights to and from Fort Ware and other destinations.
The first flight for KNCA Flying Services was scheduled for Friday morning, Kwadacha Nation chief Donald Van Somer said in a notice.
The plane is a nine-seat King Air BE20.
Its schedule for September has flights on Wednesday and Fridays, leaving Prince George at 9:30 a.m. and arriving in Fort Ware at 11 a.m. then returning to Prince George at 11:30 a.m., arriving at YXS at 12:45 p.m.
Flights at the same times are also scheduled for two Mondays, Sept. 19 and 26.
The exception is Wed., Sept. 15, when it leaves Prince George at noon, arriving in Fort Ware at 1:30 p.m. and then returning to Prince George at 2 p.m., arriving here at 3:15 p.m.
And on Tues., Sept. 13, it leaves Prince George at 2 p.m. and arrive at 3:30 p.m. and then returning to Prince George at 4 p.m, arriving here at 5:15 p.m.
Flights are $410 one way plus $1.50 per pound for baggage in excess of 25 pounds.
