Someone who bought a lottery ticket west of Prince George for Saturday’s 6/49 draw is $1 million richer today.
According to PlayNow.com, a ticket purchased in the Nechako Lakes area for the Aug. 26 draw was picked for the Gold Ball Prize Draw. If the gold ball had been chosen, instead of one of the nine white balls, that Nechako Lakes ticket would have been worth $50 million.
There wasn’t a winner in the main draw for $5 million. The unofficial winning numbers were 6, 10, 11, 22, 32, and 43. The bonus number was 27.
