For the first time, the Northern Development Initiative Trust acted as a bank for a land transaction, namely the P.G. Hotel and parking lot.
The all-northern granting agency has provided seed money in the form of grants and loans to projects deemed by their board to be likely to stimulate the northern economy. This one was a great fit, said NDI Trust's chief executive officer Janine North.
