A pair of noted musicians will peform at the UNBC First Nation Centre tomorrow night.
Kristi Lane Sinclair is a Haida Nation singer-songwriter armed with a classical guitar whose debut album, 'I Love You' melds hard edged vocals, doleful viola and whimsical guitar lines.
Cris Derksen is a young half-Cree and classically-trained cellist who uses a loop station and effect pedals to create "an inspiring multi-dimensional auditory experience that is uncharted for most classical players" according to a statement.
Doors open at 6 p.m., the show starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free although they will be taking donations for the wildfire victims in Slave Lake, where Derksen grew up.
