Name released of cyclist killed in collision

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of the cyclist who was killed Thursday morning in a collision with a transport truck at 15th and Carney. Louis John Olson, 36, of Prince George, died at the scene, the service said Monday.

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of the cyclist who was killed Thursday morning in a collision with a transport truck at 15th and Carney.

Louis John Olson, 36, of Prince George, died at the scene, the service said Monday.

RCMP and the B.C. Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement branch continue to investigate.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said reports from investigators are in the works.

"Those will come and when they do, we'll be able to put some clarity to what happened," Douglass said Monday.
