The B.C. Coroners Service have released the name of the man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 97 near Bear Lake over the weekend.
He was Gino Lino Margherit, 56, of Prince George.
Margherit was the driver and sole occupant of a car that left the road, went down a steep embankment and rolled about 60 km north of Prince George, and about 10 km south of Bear Lake, shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, the coroners service said Tuesday.
Margherit was found dead at the scene and RCMP have said he was not wearing a seatbelt and was driving at a high rate of speed.
