The 59-year-old American man who was killed in a shooting incident while bear hunting south of Houston has been identified as Jeffrey Cooper of Toutle, Washington State, RCMP said Friday.
Toutle had been hunting with guides in the Tahtsa Reach Forest Service area 112 kilometres south of Houston.
Police were called to the scene on Monday afternoon.
