Multiple victims, attackers in home invasion

A violent home invasion did serious harm to some Prince George residents early Monday morning and involved a large group of assailants. Police are searching for six or seven attackers who broke into a house on Pine Street just before 1 a.m.

A violent home invasion did serious harm to some Prince George residents early Monday morning and involved a large group of assailants.

Police are searching for six or seven attackers who broke into a house on Pine Street just before 1 a.m. They slashed one victim with a sword, beat another with a skateboard, and did various other mental and physical harm to others in the residence. The suspects took several items including a laptop, a BMX bike and an amount of cash from the residence.

Three of the suspects had the following description:

1- Caucasian male, 6'1, 170 lbs wearing a black hoody , black and red bandana and khaki pants

2- Caucasian male 5'10, 155 lbs wearing a black hoody and black and red bandana.

3 - Native male 5' 10, acne on his face, wearing a black hoody, red baseball cap and blue jeans.

Prince George RCMP are earnestly investigating, calling the crime "serious" and "of great concern" to them. They are also investigating why this home was targeted for the attack.

Anyone who can help provide information directly to investigators is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or give the information anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS / www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca.
