A man is in custody on suspicion of breaking into a business in the Danson Estates light industrial area on Tuesday night.
Prince George RCMP said Shawn Ryan Underhill, 41, was arrested soon after police were called shortly after 8 p.m. to the 9200 block of Northern Crescent.
Underhill matched the description of the person seen on the business' video surveillance system, RCMP noted.
"Our police officers’ quick response to this report, in combination with the live video surveillance, ensured we had the suspect apprehended within an hour of the initial complaint," Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said.
Underhill, who is known to the police and the courts, remains in custody on a count of break and enter with intent to commit a crime. He also continues to face a count of motor vehicle theft from an alleged August 13 incident, court records show.
