Rural Prince George will benefit from $2 million worth of improvements to area roads.
Work will begin "immediately" on repairs on Upper Fraser Road and resealing of subdivision roads in North Kelly, Reid Lake, Ness Lake and Buckhorn and Pineview areas.
The work, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of September, came about from savings in other infrastructure stimulus fund highway projects around the province, according to a press release from the area's federal and provincial politicians issued Thursday.
