Construction of the new pavilion in Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park was put on hold Thursday following the discovery of more human remains.

In a statement, the city said there is a process to follow whenever remains are found.

"As per this process, an additional archaeological assessment will be undertaken but the timelines for completion of this work is not known at this time," the city said.

It's the second time remains have been uncovered at the site.
