People with disabilities will get help preparing for jobs as a result of a $392,409 grant from the federal government to Kopar Administration Ltd.

The project will help 45 people with disabilities gain the skills they need to enter the labour market. The money comes out of the community coordinator component of the opportunities fund for persons with disabilities.

"In today's environment, it is more important than ever that all Canadians have the skills they need to participate and succeed in the job market," said Cariboo-Prince George MP Dick Harris in a press release issued Wednesday. "By supporting this project, our government is helping Canadians with disabilities maximize their potential and independence."
